The experience you get from a good Alexander lesson is unique. You can't kind of describe it so easily because it's something highly individual. I think that to really understand how to be upright in a free flowing way with the whole body lengthened and yet loose, available to do whatever you want to do in an easy manner can't be of anything except good use for any Tai Chi practitioner. There are other philosophical links. The end gaining aspect about Alexander technique, non-end gaining very much a Tai Chi idea, not used in the same language.
