The Optat Ask is one of my favorite asks. You are giving the person the reason to say no. If I have to say no to you, now I'm uncomfortable and that puts the relationship at risk. My goal in teaching you how to ask is to make sure that you don't put a relationship at risk by asking too many questions. It is not necessarily always to get the yes, but to increase your chances of getting a yes either now or later.
