The Role of Muscle Damage in Hypertrophy

The Felipe de Moss research really kind of, I don't know if you say put the nail in the coffin, but it was a pretty massive point in changing most of that stuff. People have moved away from the idea that muscle damages are stimulus by perchway largely based on this literature. There's some really, really great work being done just to try and differentiate the muscle protein synthesis rate elevations that are going towards hypertrophy and the muscle proteins which are going towards damage.
