The Importance of Setting Up a Game Festival
I used to organize gaming events and the biggest most important one I did was called the Milan Game Festival. The way we had set up was exactly like a film festival where you had 30 machines that were all running the same game at the same time. You would sit down with your friend or your partner at one of those stations and everyone played for two hours. Afterwards afterwards they would meet the creators it was like you know drinks and chats with the creators. It's not really marketing right because film festivals are now about selling the movies, games are about celebrating the movies and watching them. We don't have anything like that unfortunately in games.
