Are You a Visual Learner?
When you use visual stimuli, your brain is that much more likely to remember it. So I know a lot of people will say my name wrong because they see how it's spelled and they have an idea of how it's pronounced. But then I will just write it out in a different way the way it would be more normal to pronounce it. You're trying to kind of hijack and like gain your own senses. Like anything, most of the memory techniques have a lot to do with creating visual stimulus where there is none.
