The one grand perdesilator rule is correct on average for adults, but for a given patient and a unit of blood, it could be anywhere from point six to one point six bump after transfusion. The bigger the patient, technically they have more intra vascular volume, so the less i will expect the hemoglobin concentration to go up in that intra vascular space.
