Mindfulness Reduces Guilt

In both studies here, compared to the control group, participants who practised mindfulness after they were called a past transgression reported feeling less guilt. The researchers also did that formal mediation analysis, and they found that the reduction in guilt fully explained why the mindfulness condition reduced the amount of money that they gave to the persont they wronged.
