The Benefits of Complexity in Training

I look at things in terms of what I call stress index. It's essentially kind of a counting of hard sets, but easy sets aren't exactly zero. The more you look at it, the more it subdivides and it can be as complicated as you want it to be. And then hopefully we can distill it down to something pretty simple and the athlete doesn't have to get that far into the weeds.
