The old cog and training zones of you know 120% of FTP is reviewed to max and over that is your anaerobic so if you're viewed to max power is 300 watts and you shift to 301 watts it's not like everything like flips all of a sudden and now you're totally anaerobic. It's very much a sliding scale and it just depends on how fast are the processes happening I think the other thing is that your body is actually really adaptable and so you're taking advantage of these evolutionary evolutionarily enabled adaptations to make yourself good at this thing that isn't required for you to live at all.
