What Is a Pay Ban?
There's some really interesting innovation happening in this space, but for the most part, these surveys are like the absolute backbone of what our field does. A company that uses bans might decide to take a broader point of view on that and get paid a lot more or less than someone else in the same job. Market pricing is maybe a different way of looking at pay ranges. I'm not a big fan of market pricing because it typically creates all sorts of internal problems with their company. Now, how you build an accountants' compensation system needs to be harmonized across companies.
