The History of the Igloo Village
The first bubble houses were done during the war to create quick housing for government workers. Kathy Miles grew up in one of the Falls Church bubble houses. When she was five years old, her dad drove the family into the forest to show them their new house. He hadn't told his wife and two daughters that they would be living in a village of bubbles in the woods.
