I think the first step is to recognize when there is an everybody in your mind, like listening to that voice in your head and becoming aware of when you are starting to have that generalized other. The next thing to do is to identify or to try to identify who this everybody is. And once you're able to start pinpointing and distilling who this elusive air quotes, everybody is, it'll get you a lot closer to knowing yourself. It's already low key life changing. Once you've had enough time to realize you have this everybody and you've sat with it for enough time, we don't need to change overnight.
