The Role of System One in Predicting Behavior
There's a conventional wisdom now that revealed preferences are preferable than stated. The best predictor power of future behavior comes from measuring both rather than one of them on its own, he says. In practice the data as it stands often isn't rich enough and models not yet sophisticated enough just to use revealed data by itself unless you like Facebook or Halifax or Spotify then you probably have data that's good enough to predict personality without asking.
