Outer Wilds - The Game That Is Like Groundhog Day
The player's experience is sort of living this section of time over and over again, such that they can interact with it in the same way as like Bill Murray does in Groundhog Day. The mechanic is deep in which means for some hours, it basically doesn't exist. It's a huge risk that they took for the player experience that turned out well for them,. But it was a massive bold choice as designers, I think.
