The body uses sodium, but it's not sodium deplete. We can afford to lose up to 50% of our sodium stores and not be affected because we're just looking at how the body is transporting water from one space to another. You want to have a little bit of sodium and the stuff that you're drinking, but you don't have to go to the extremes. So am I leaving some performance, some well-being slash performance on the table by approaching my hydration? Absolutely.
