The Importance of Block Training in Endurance Training
Block training has been something that's been used in endurance training, though usually more so with the speed sessions. The reasons that people do kind of vary. But ultimately, i just think it's a kind of a good vehicle to build a lot of volume at the goal race intensity you plan on ing. If you're doing block training and do two quality sessions back to back, definitely make you've exhausted your progress in a hard, easy, hard schedule first.
