I read gifted hands by Dr. Ben Carson in the fifth grade, and his story really resonated with me because he was just a terrific physician. He separated two twins who were connected at the occipital lobe and had both of them live. And I would never fall ever be as good as him, but he's the one that planted the seed of neurosurgery in my head so that one day maybe I can help save a life as well.
