In an ideal world, you would wake up naturally and that is when your body is naturally used to waking up. Unfortunately, many of us have to have alarms because they basically stimulate our primitive, vital flight response. We wake up as if a panther is just or a tiger just walked into our room. And so all those sort of rude awakenings, they kind of add up. They will increase the stress levels in the morning. If you stay in bed, if you keep hitting the snooze button, that will fade away. That's what gets you going.
