Capsaicin, which is the part of a pepper that makes it have heat or spice. People with irritable bowel syndrome who took a capsaicin supplement actually saw significant improvements in their abdominal pain and bloating when compared to a placebo. potatoes are very high in what's called a resistance starch. It gets broken down by our gut microbiome and our colon. And it releases in a powerful way, short chain fatty acids like butyrate. So I don't need to give up my tomatoes. I'm very happy about that.
