If i took a patient who was anabolically resistant maybe they even had some insulin resistance their fairly fairly sedentary and I did nothing but change their macronutrient profile increasing their protein intake would you then expect significant changes in terms of muscle mass. No caloric changes just pro just more protein less carbs um yes so basically an isocaloric diet would i expect those individuals body composition to change? It's impossible to say but i would expect them to lose weight while maintaining lean muscle mass and just lean tissue, it doesn't even have to be lean muscle mass.
