We all know in our heart of hearts that the nature of emotions is that they're like waves. They come and go. Even within a day, you can have a range of emotions. And I think if you kind of tell yourself like, oh, I am depressed right now, then all you pay attention to are those moments of feeling down and feeling unhappy. Whereas if you don't put that label on it and you're kind of open to the fact that change is the only constant, things are always moving.
