Do We Start an Arb or an Ace First?
When i'm starting my patients on some type of inhibition of the green and angeo tenson system, i have gone from an ace inhibitor as my first choice. I would we're not completely moving away from ac inhibitors, but if you have an equivalent medication that doesn't cause a cough as frequently, it seems kind of like a nobrainer to use that other medication. And so as inhibitors are definitely becoming less favored in my practice, in the practice of many others.
