In the early 80s, Landy moved to Los Angeles with a suitcase and her beauty school diploma. She worked in South Africa for four years where she met her husband who was applying for a green card at the time. But when he got it, they decided to emigrate together but had no idea of how difficult that would be. The couple now live in LA as part of their own successful skincare empire.
