The Benefits of Hypertrophy
Exercise selection and creativity is probably one of the most important things older you get. You have a much higher rate of injury being sedentary than lifting weights. If you can figure out a way to put load through tissue, you could do anywhere from sets of like five to 30 as long as the effort at the end of those sets is appropriate. So just don't, don't put any movement on a pedestal and just realize it's never too late to start.
