Can a VP of Design Make a Change?

The only exception I could see is if the organization were in crisis, we've seen this in our own work when we've been brought in from the outside. If you're working for a good company with a good business model and you're contributing to that, that's great. But if you're not, then I don't care how much you go out there and learn about people and empathize with people, that work is ultimately going to be used in support of that business model. There's nothing you can do about that from the inside. And I think these are maybe be like hard truths"
