"I realized that a lot of the things that were affecting me emotionally were things that I didn't need to actually get a version about," he says. "So many of the biases and logical fantasies and the sort of errors that we make in our thinking, they come from the fact that our emotions are clouding our judgment" We evolved for a completely different world with hunter gatherers who used their emotions as assets - but now these have become liabilities because they're being used to manipulate us.
