My goal for all of my patients is can we identify the healthiest fiber rich diet that you can comfortably tolerate? That may be anywhere from 10 or 12 a day to 40 to 50 a day, or it might be different types of fiber in different forms. For some people, it might be intact salads and nuts and ruffigy fiber. Some causes of bloating are not related to your intestines or your colon or your bowels. It's your stomach.
