The Importance of Plyometric Training

The NFL's injury rate was up 25%, 44% on the hamstring and the Achilles. Too many coaches do plyometrics, you have no clue what they're doing,. You want to build maximal strength, raise the box up to a meter, 36-inch. If you want to build explosive power, you've got to keep down about 20 inches. There's not many people who know this. They don't know how many to do. I've always recommended most people, I don't have a long jumper in here this year, silver medals, I had to do 120 jumps a week, 43 times a week, everyone else top 40 twice a week. That's what's recommended
