I've gone all in on endurance events where I've really reduced almost all strength training. And I'll never do that again. The reason I think, or the first reason I think you should be incorporating this hybrid athlete training is body composition. What I found is by incorporating a level of endurance training and incorporating a certain level of resistance training, strength training, have built my best physique.
