The British Board of Control for Boxing Wants to Fight Not to Proceed
The British board of boxing control is saying that the fight should be prohibited as it is not in the interest of boxing. The team that's won many of those races in Portugal has had a number of its riders caught with banned substances ranging from corticosteroids onwards. It's long, I think, been known that there is rampant doping among some of those, particularly sub-elite teams. Yet you don't see climbers regularly winning Tour de France stages from those teams or from Portugal even. And they just... So that's what's come to a head here now. Maybe it's a turning point where anti-doping in Portugal starts to actually filter out the behaviours.
