Mike Sessin used to comment on every single Olympic lifting video. We haven't heard from him in a while. It's good to know he still watches our videos though. Some guy named Reynolds here says, y'all... Area, great, and all, but the whole stick about always in contact with the legs is just wrong. Nobody competitively lifts like that. You just introduce extra unneeded friction and mess up the bar path. The bar should travel close to the legs, but if your cue is always touching, that does... That just does more harm than good.
