The Importance of Knee Extension

The first thing I think of the last three people that I saw this week presenting with knee complaints, the first thing I do is make sure that they have full knee extension. There's probably no mechanical block to the joint that you may see if someone had a traumatic knee injury where they twisted their knee and likely sustained a meniscal tear. You know, there are times when it's when it's necessary, just like sometimes you can go through a good rehab process and you do all the right stuff and you end up having a scope on the other end of it. Just make sure you are informed about the pros and cons of all the different things you can do.
