The first thing we need to do within ourselves anytime we have a fear is actually make it make sense. If you ask yourself, how does this fear make sense right now, you'll be able to dig back and find some sort of old memory or experience that made you fear that in the past. And so you have to be the one to really validate that like, wow, that really makes sense because that's the only way to get it to dissipate. I can see with so much clarity and so much compassion now that all the years that I rejected an emotion all the times I was like, oh, like it's coming up again.
