The Power of Game Design

There's such power in genre where like many designers anonymous and known have iterated on a genre improving bits adding in things from other genres there's all this kind of wisdom in those conventions that if you were like somehow thinking you could design a game entirely from first principles you'd be. There's no way you in one human lifetime could get to that so yeah I think there's a lot to that on the other side of like the interacting directly with the systems as well.
