An alcohol, relative to everything else we're going to say on this list, is a complete outlier in terms of how negative it tends to be on recovery. The air is thinner at altitude, and so your body has to work a lot harder to sort of do all the base line level stuff. You will potentially get the low pulsox notification in the health monitor if you go to altitude. But it's not a sign that anything's wrong. It's just your body adjusting to it.
