Planning Your Life in Weeks

LZ Granderson: I think you will probably find these nine rules helpful for you. One of them that I'm excited to do is plan on Fridays. LZ: Planning on Friday allows you to use all of Monday. Many people have more energy toward the start of things, so you want to use that Monday morning execution energy for doing stuff rather than planning. So by taking a few minutes to plan the upcoming week on Friday afternoon, you can turn what would likely be wasted time into some of your most productive minutes of the week. And then if you're sure we've just shortened our week quite a bit, we want to make more time to actually do work.
