The Importance of Age in Body Bullying
The age factor, like where age starts to limit you, comes relatively late close to how long it takes for you to reach your peak performance. Power lifting is incredibly muscle size dependent. The point at which you can't build muscle or your ceiling is limited by how much muscle you can gain probably comes even later than that. A lot of the physiological processes which would interfere with hypertrophy come quite late.
