Are There Any Incentives for Doctors to Do These Studies?
Prisad: There is a long, long list of medical treatments that simply don't stand up to empirical scrutiny. He says the rate of inappropriate stenting for stable angina is still way too high. Prisad: I would gather that there are fairly weak incentives to doing the studies that would result in reversals.
