The Biomedical Assessment of Low Back Pain
Most patients are going to have this nonspecific low back pain. The next step in the assessment when I'm taking my history, it typically involves starting with something open ended and letting the person kind of tell their story from the time this began. Try to get a sense about their baseline physical function. And then also for these psychosocial factors that can impact recovery. So things like sleep is enormous and very frequently overlooked in this situation. Not only can inadequate sleep worsen pain intensity,. but additionally, having back quality.
