Is There a Difference Between Strength Training and Running?
Rich: After a period of two or three months a couple of strength training sessions a week we usually see running economy improved. Running economies how much oxygen or energy that we're using at submaximal running speeds. Rich says it's difficult for a runner to kind of like tangibly sort of feel that because you don't kind of feel how much sort of oxygen you're using and so just end up speeding up a little bit.
