Hourly Billing Is Just Ugly

hourly billing is the absence of pricing. You're backing your way into an eventual amount of money that exchanged hands. It's nuts, as some famous author would say. The most common way to buy things where you're presented with a price and you make a value-based decision on whether or not it's worth it at that price. And I just say, thanks anyway and move on.
