Is Raeli Food a Jewish Food?
i found it was so interesting, because when i ask people about it, they said, well, i want something jewish for shabat. When we have spardy hosts, they're often wanting sparty food. And everybody wants israeli food because they sort of see that as a jewish food. But i don't really feel like it's my place to sort of encourage people to see other foods as jewish foods. I'd rather order in something that i don't know how to make. You know, i've tried many times to make a dosa. It's never work."
