I've always been a big believer in the base season of building blocks of days. You have three days where maybe you do some threshold work one day, and then you have two longer days,. And it's the accumulation of three days that builds a fatigue. So I like to build like one or two easy days, but also, yeah, it's just like if you throw like a proper session of zone two...
