The Most Important Point Is Not the Content of Zazen
Fujita: Zazen is essentially a practice of letting go of that effort, letting go of the pursuit of satisfaction. He says we should put a higher priority on what is quietly happening beyond our knowing by perceiving and thinking than on what we can experience consciously. And I resonate with his love for Zazen, his thinking it's the most profound thing in the world.
