I love cogntivlod theory. It's rooted in the biology of human working memory. We have this amazing capacity for learning, and yet we have a really limited capacity for processing new information in real time. And so what cognitive load theory does is say, this is a bottle neck. Here are some strategies to help us account for that bottle neck and work with it as a way of making learning more effective. I'd recommend them to anybody.
