What Are Short-Channel Fatty Acids?

There's three main ones that bacteria produce in your gut. Propylinate and then butrate. They do this essentially when they're fermenting fibers, oligosaccharides, resistant starches, even sugars. 70% of our energy needs for our colon cells is relied on this butrate that's produced. We've evolved this relationship with these be very producing bacteria. And so I think it's pivotal that we look after those little be trade piecing factories in our gut and feed them because they're there.
