I was really fascinated by this like bifurcation where because people would go see the fast debate and then be scandalized, they wanted to sponsor a slow debate. The idea that policy decisions take place at an unintelligible speed and this kind of performative rhetoric about value takes place with painful deliberateness which actually very was roughly analogous to what happens on the like in the US right now.
