There are all these motivational lures. for going either into a conspiratorial community or a cult or really any organization. If it's a cult, what they will slowly do is snip away all of your other sources of validation until they're the only place. As you become more aligned with the group and you're hanging out with them more often you're starting to entertain more ideas. The off ramp is the same way they got in.
