The Prefrontal Cortex Regulates Attention Without Medication
The attentional issues are strictly driven by that cognitive load or cognitive overwhelm. So as we strengthen those cognitive functions, it lightens the load. And then they don't need to put that extra effort into processing or retaining or whatever those areas are. Then we work with individuals where it's a prefrontal cortex, either a right or left hemisphere. That part of the brain is important for regulating and controlling attention.
