The Importance of Curiosity in Economics
Gary Cohn: Can you just start to be more knowledgeable than everybody else by starting from a better place? Or does this actually just take time? A lot of people simply don't act in very curious ways. They want to do things mechanically, they feel safe doing that. And anomalies and unexpected events are just distractions rather than wondering about them. That really is the heart of like in at least in macro markets and economic policy.
